Altec Adjusts Equipment Pricing for 2012
December 2, 2011

Birmingham, AL, December 5, 2011— Altec Industries has announced that it will implement an average price increase of approximately 4% starting in 2012 based on a series of market conditions that have impacted the manufacturing industry. The price adjustments are necessary due to recent increases in material and operating costs, commodity demand and the effects of expanded government regulation on the industry.

Altec will continue to focus on a range of cost management initiatives to minimize price adjustments. These cost control methods include lean manufacturing processes as well as comprehensive supply chain management programs.

Altec is the leading equipment and service provider for the electric utility, telecommunications, contractor, and tree care markets. The company provides products and services in more than 100 countries throughout the world.
