Altec Industries, Inc., a Birmingham, Ala., based manufacturer of aerial lifts, cranes and specialty equipment for the electric utility and contractor markets has announced the opening of the Altec Arizona Service Center in Phoenix, AZ.  

The open house will take place February 18, 2010 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.  Altec customers are invited to have lunch, enter prize drawings and demo various Altec units after touring the new facility.

Located on nine acres, the Altec Service Center totals 12,000 square feet and has ten service bays, which is a significant capacity increase from the previous center located in Phoenix.  “We’re very happy about our increased capacity and capabilities in Phoenix.  We’re excited about the future in our new facility, and the ability we now have to better serve our customers,” said Dan Specker, Arizona Service Center Manager.
