This lease is designed to provide our customers with a predictable cost of using equipment for a specified period of time. The cost of the equipment is fixed, except for those costs associated with maintenance, fuel and insurance. The fair market value lease is written with the intention of the customer returning the equipment to Altec Capital Services at the end of the term. Other options include purchasing the equipment for its fair market value or extending the term of the lease. With a fair market value lease, you incur no residual risk at the end of the equipment’s useful life. The fair market value lease avoids high maintenance costs and expensive downtime by adjusting the equipment life cycle to its most efficient term.
