DSC6 Controlled-Feed Wood Chipper
Launched in June of this year, Altec’s DSC6 is an easy-to-use wood chipper for the operator who needs a smaller machine capable of processing large amounts of debris. An eight-blade feed roller design allows for smooth operation for all types and sizes of material while maintaining a convenient 6×10 inch feed opening. The transition zone between the feed roller and cutting disc has been redesigned to provide more productive, efficient chipping.

Altec made it easier and quicker for you to access product information from your mobile phone. The iPhone application puts new and used equipment inventory and new equipment specifications at the fingertips of the on-the-go user. Loaded with customer functionality, the service section of the iPhone app is built for the person in the field who works with Altec equipment. With the Altec app, you can request service, store personalized equipment information, request parts assistance and find the nearest service location and more.

TA50-55-60S Aerial Devices
Altec developed the “S” platform option for the TA50/55/60 aerial devices. This non-insulating unit was designed for the lights and signs industry with a 500 pound capacity aluminum platform, a 64 foot working height and a 40 foot side reach. With other convenient features like easy platform access and 180 degree platform rotation, this machine is built for operator convenience.

AT40GW Track-Driven Aerial Device
The AT40GW track driven aerial device was added to our lineup in October of this year. We took the popular AT40G aerial device and installed it on the same track carrier as the AT37GW to provide versatility and 43 feet of working height. The AT40GW is available with an ISO-Boom to allow the unit’s second stage to be fully retracted while maintaining dielectric integrity and meeting OSHA guidelines for minimum approach distance. Adding this option makes the AT40GW ideal for a congested substation or backyard work sites.
