Customer Boot Camp

Customer Boot Camp is a four-day, in-person training covering basic electrical and hydraulic, PDM and troubleshooting content. This is a great place to start before attending unit specific training to ensure learners have a foundation in identifying components and reading schematics.

Unit Specific Training

In-person unit specific trainings vary from one to five days, depending on model. Training covers safety, unit functions, preventive maintenance, unit inspection and minor troubleshooting and repair processes for the unit, with hands-on training throughout. Throughout this training mechanics will learn about unit mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.

IFPS MHM

This five-day IFPS review, test preparation and testing session gives mechanics the ability to earn IFPS Mobile Hydraulic Mechanic Certification. This course is facilitated by Altec and IFPS accredited instructors and follows the curriculum established by IFPS.

Technical Webinars

Technical webinars are one-hour sessions hosted using a virtual platform covering foundational technical information. Mechanics will interact with one of our trainers live during the session.
