Training

Altec offers a variety of instructor-led and online training courses for aerial devices, digger derricks, and cranes. Courses cover general operator safety as well as operating procedures for specific Altec models. Altec training courses follow OSHA and ANSI standards, and a record of training is provided upon completion of each course.
Because Altec recognizes the advancement of live line work practices varies country to country, we create customized lineman training curriculums for our international utility customers. Through classroom and hands-on training, we deliver skills to crews and help improve safety management processes. Guided by each company’s needs, our training is completely custom, ranging anywhere from 3 days to 3 months in length.
