Simplicity, rigidity and reliability are the three words needed to describe the LR756. This tree care aerial doesn’t necessarily come equipped with fancy bells and whistles but was designed to withstand the everyday rigors of typical tree care work. Work Practice

The LR756 is an insulating, overcenter unit with a working height of 61 feet and a side reach of 44 feet. The aerial has 125 degrees of lower boom articulation and a platform capacity of 400 lbs. The LR756 is an under-CDL unit, making it easy for any tree care professional to drive and operate the aerial device.  

Design

Since 1992, Altec has offered its LR line of aerial devices. Introduced to the market in 2011 with enhancements made over time as work practices have changed, the LR756 is an industry veteran with a solid and reputable design. The insulating unit features a round upper boom to reduce potential boom damage and an insulating lower boom insert as an added safety feature. The LR756 comes with a lifetime structural warranty and does not require any major scheduled maintenance.

Smooth Operation

The unit is operated using the Altec ISO-Grip® Control system, a single-handle controller which supplies a secondary level of protection against an electrical current. For increased ease of use, an automatic lower and upper boom stow system is available as an optional feature.

Platform Rotation and Hydraulic Tilt

The LR756 can be configured with platform rotation and hydraulic tilt at the upper controls. This platform rotates 90-degrees, providing greater accessibility to the work area and reducing the need to reposition the truck to complete jobs.

Similar Models

The LR756 is part of Altec’s LR7 line of aerial devices designed for the tree care industry. The LR7 models feature working heights up to 75 feet and side reaches up to 48 feet. For those needing extra height, the LR760-E70 is designed with a 10-foot elevator, increasing the working height to 70 feet.
