Overview
This training builds on the similarities of Altec’s hydraulic-controlled digger derricks, One of the D3000H, DH-H, or DT65H derricks is used as the foundational “building block” of this school for the first two days. Trainees will learn unit-specific knowledge, best safety, maintenance, and inspection standards, and the theoretical and practical skills necessary for minor troubleshooting and repairs. Then the remaining units are reviewed in building-block fashion for their major similarities and specific differences. Upon completion of this course, trainees will be able to demonstrate applied hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical knowledge of Altec’s multiplexed-controlled derricks.
