Introduction to Hydraulic Systems
Basic Training Package
Two-day course, (16 hours)
This course is intended to provide an understanding of the most important hydraulic concepts used on Altec products. The course begins with basic hydraulic principles and progresses to more intermediate and advanced concepts. Upon completion of this course, technicians should be able to understand basic physical laws as they apply to fluid power, understand components found in typical hydraulic systems and how components function and interact. They will also gain an understanding of hydraulic JIC schematics.
