AA/AN/AN-OC Unit Specific Training
Two-day course, (16 hours)
AA/AN units are non-overcenter aerial devices. The AA is equipped with hydraulic upper boom compensation. AN-OC units are over-center aerial devices. All of the units feature a chain and rod leveling system in the lower and upper booms and a load-sense hydraulic system with pilot pressure upper controls.
Overview
This training is designed for the development of technicians by reinforcing best maintenance safety practices and introducing unit specific knowledge. Trainees will be given the opportunity to learn both the theoretical and practical skills needed to perform preventative maintenance inspections and minor troubleshooting and repairs. Upon completion of this training, technicians will be able to demonstrate applied knowledge of the unit’s hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
