AM50/55/60 Unit Specific Training
Two-day course, (16 hours)
AM units are over-center aerial devices with a side-by-side boom arrangement. The AMs feature a chain and rod leveling system with two options for a hydraulic system: load-sense with pilot upper controls or full pressure with full pressure upper controls.
Overview
This training is designed for the development of technicians by reinforcing best maintenance safety practices and introducing unit specific knowledge. Trainees will be given the opportunity to learn both the theoretical and practical skills needed to perform preventative maintenance inspections and minor troubleshooting and repairs. Upon completion of this training, technicians will be able to demonstrate applied knowledge of the unit’s hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
