LS49 Unit Specific Training
One and a Halfcourse, (12 hours)
The LS49 has a two-section, hydraulically extended telescopic boom. A gear pump provides flow to the open-center hydraulic system. A CAN-based valve controls all aerial functions. The control system is CAN-based and includes rotation interlocks for short-side jacking.
Overview
This training is designed for the development of technicians by reinforcing best maintenance safety practices and introducing unit specific knowledge. Trainees are given the opportunity to learn both the theoretical
and practical skills needed to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, minor troubleshooting and repairs. Upon completion of this training, technicians will be able to demonstrate applied knowledge of the unit’s hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems
