TDA58 Unit Specific Training
One-day course, (8 hours)
This unit is a telescopic, double-articulating aerial device with insulating lower arms, an insulating telescopic upper boom and an insulating system at the boom tip. It uses a pilot-operated, hydraulic control system. The TDA58 is a combined multiplex unit which features an outrigger-boom-interlock system that prevents the boom from being unstowed until all unit outriggers have been fully extended and have detected ground contact. The TDA58 comes with hand-held pendant ground drive controls.
Overview
This training is designed for the development of technicians by reinforcing best maintenance safety practices and introducing unit specific knowledge. Trainees are given the opportunity to learn both the theoreticaland practical skills needed to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, minor troubleshooting and repairs. Upon completion of this training, technicians will be able to demonstrate applied knowledge of the unit’s hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
