HD35A Unit Specific Training
Two-day course, (16 hours)
The HD35A is a continuous-duty, direct-drive pressure digger with capacities of 72 inches digging diameter and up to 25,000 lbs of downward force. This pressure digger has a piston pump and piston motor in a hydrostatic transmission turning a direct-drive gearbox. Fixed-displacement pumps in a full-flow, open-center hydraulic system run the cylinders. Simple 12-volt relays control the outriggers and pole guides.
Overview
This training is designed for the development of technicians by reinforcing the best maintenance safety practices and introducing unit specific knowledge. Trainees will be given the opportunity to learn both the theoretical and practical skills needed to perform preventative maintenance inspections and minor troubleshooting and repairs. Upon completion of this training, technicians will be able to demonstrate applied knowledge of the unit’s hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
