LP108 Unit Specific Training
Two-day course, (16 hours)
The LP108 is an underground and overhead cable handler for truck mounted installations. It is used primarily for transporting, removing and pulling underground cable through ducts. The LP108 has two main valve options, both are electric-over-hydraulic actuated. Each valve option is supplied by a piston pump in a load-sense, closed-center system. On/off proportional controls are powered by simple 12 volts.
Overview
This training is designed for the development of technicians by reinforcing best maintenance safety practices and introducing unit specific knowledge. Trainees will be given the opportunity to learn both the theoretical and practical skills needed to perform preventative maintenance inspections and minor troubleshooting and repairs. Upon completion of this training, technicians will be able to demonstrate applied knowledge of the unit’s hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
