TS20-4P Unit Specific Training
Half-day course, (8 hours)
The TS20-4P is a trailer-mounted, four-drum puller used for overhead stringing of conductors. It has a closed-loop hydrostatic drive to turn the rope drums and a secondary full-flow, open-center hydraulic circuit for the hydraulic front jack and the level wind arms. Maximum line pull for overhead tensioning is 2,000 pounds.
Overview
This training is designed for the development of technicians by reinforcing best maintenance safety practices and introducing unit specific knowledge. Trainees are given the opportunity to learn both the theoretical
and practical skills needed to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, minor troubleshooting and repairs. Upon completion of this training, technicians will be able to demonstrate applied knowledge of the unit’s hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
