Altec Industries, Inc. New Feature Enhancement on TA50

Birmingham, AL – Altec Industries, Inc. recently updated the TA 50/55/60 aerial devices by creating an automatic boom latch on the unit. The automatic boom latch eliminates the need for the operator to climb under, or through the booms to manually remove the tie down strap. The boom is still secure during travel, but this enhancement significantly increases operator safety and productivity, while decreasing maintenance costs.

The TA 50/55/60 models have standard features such as a working height up to 64.8 ft and side reach up to 40.1 ft, 600lbs platform capacity, regardless of jib capacity, 4-function single handle upper control and the Altec ISO-Grip® control system.
