Altec Sentry Training Program Teaches Safe Productivity

At Altec, we are committed to helping your crew work safer and smarter. We believe this is possible through a thorough knowledge of how to operate our equipment. Sentry Training provides the operator the instruction and skills needed to work both productively and safely. Altec Sentry training is fully compliant with OSHA/ANSI requirements.

Training courses are offered in two formats including self-directed training kits and instructor-led programs. Both of the programs include comprehensive computer-based training software complete with workbooks, tests and evaluation sheets. Upon successful completion of the program, the operator will receive a certificate of completion and a wallet card. Altec maintains records of all completed safety training.

In addition to computer-based training aids, Altec offers hands-on equipment training throughout the year. Trainees will become familiar with a variety of topics including unit set up and operation, digger and pole puller operation, material handling and Altec’s ISO-grip® system.
