Easter – A Message from the Styslingers
At Altec, Spiritual Development remains one of our core values and guiding principles.
As we enter the Easter holiday season – whatever your spiritual beliefs – Altec encourages you to take time to reflect on the importance of the holiday, especially during these difficult and unprecedented times.
Please take a moment to watch a video statement from our CEO and Chairman, Lee Styslinger III, our President Jon Styslinger and our Senior Vice President Mark Styslinger. A transcript is below for reference.
Lee Styslinger:
“Here at Altec, Spiritual Development remains one of our core values and guiding principles. And as we enter the Easter holiday season – whatever your spiritual beliefs — Jon, Mark and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the importance of the holiday, especially during these difficult and unprecedented times as we all deal with the global pandemic. Easter represents the source of salvation and carries with it a message of hope and renewal. Yet, much like our family, many of you will be separated from loved ones this Easter holiday due to the social distancing and mitigation policies that we must all observe. We encourage you to continue to follow those guidelines.”
Mark Styslinger:
“But despite the need to distance yourself from family and friends, we also want to encourage you to stay socially connected and remember to reach out to those in need of your support. Faith and worship are all about community, and we can stay engaged with each other by using the tools of today’s technology. We can all stand in faith until this pandemic is over.”
Jon Styslinger:
“As both Lee and Mark mentioned, out of the care and concern that we have for others, every one of us is being asked to observe Easter in the solitude of our homes this year. Even though churches will be closed this Sunday, we are certain that you’ll reflect on your many blessings. I also know that you will extend your appreciation and concern for the sacrifices made by health care workers, volunteers and public servants who are on the front lines fighting this pandemic. To all of Team Altec, we are thankful for everything that you do every day to work safely, while also staying focused on protecting your co-workers and teammates. And from our family to yours – whatever your faith and belief –we wish all of you the gifts of joy, hope and peace during this holiday season.”
