Altec’s commitment to customers goes beyond just the investment in designing and manufacturing safe and innovative equipment—we are dedicated to keeping crews safe on the job. The Altec Sentry program was created to train operators of Altec equipment, using the highest safety standards to prevent on-the-job injuries and fatalities.

To date, Altec Sentry, a division of Altec, Inc., has trained more than 500 companies and 20,000 workers on safety practices for the electric utility, telecommunications and contractor industries. They also held 63 “best practice seminars” and trained 835 OSHA staff.
