See the Latest in Safety and Innovation at Utility Expo 2025

Altec will display its latest innovations in equipment and services at this year’s Utility Expo set for Oct. 7-9 in Louisville, Kentucky. A leading provider of products and services to the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, and lights and signs markets, Altec helps customers dig deeper and reach higher in more than 100 countries around the world.
More than 50 pieces of Altec equipment will be on display at this year’s Expo, with the company’s next-generation aerial device making its public debut. Altec will also feature its connected products that allow users to know more about their fleets than ever, offering insights and analytics based on performance and safety data.
Safety and Innovation Take Center Stage
Altec will debut several new pieces of equipment this year, including the all-new AA55+ and AN55E-OC+. A generational update to one of Altec’s most popular models, the new AA/AN55+ provides unparalleled jobsite safety and efficiency. With advanced unit hydraulics and controls, standard platform-to-ground, easy-to-use lower control pendant and a host of other new features and updates, these units set the gold standard for safety, productivity and serviceability.
Attendees can also preview a new derrick model, as well as a game-changing product enhancement that will be on display for the first time at the show.
Learn How Connectivity Can Help Your Fleet Reach New Heights
The role of technology in fleet management continues to evolve. Altec Insights is a powerful tool for understanding equipment safety and performance. Insights are created using data and Altec expertise, and the result is simple and actionable information designed to help answer essential questions, enhance jobsite safety and reduce downtime. Altec Insights is now available for JEMS units.
Altec’s Jobsite Energy Management System eliminates unnecessary engine idling at the jobsite by using lithium-ion batteries to power the electric power-takeoff (ePTO) and auxiliary chassis applications. Altec Insights for JEMS puts actionable information at user fingertips, helping them understand performance and identify corrective actions to maximize JEMS utilization. These insights give visibility into utilization, fuel savings and other important metrics, as well as access to remote diagnostics across an entire JEMS fleet.
Op-Ready is a digital report that combines data from telematics and Altec equipment to identify assets that might be down. With this report, customers can address issues today to prevent downtime tomorrow. Insights, Op-Ready and other digital products will be available for demonstration at the Insights building on the Altec lot.

In addition to new equipment, Altec offers a variety of solutions to support customers throughout the lifecycle of their equipment from before purchase to disposition. Representatives from all Altec’s business units will be onsite during the show to connect with customers and discuss solutions that meet their unique needs.
For those interested in used units, Altec offers a used equipment solution through Altec NUECO. Altec Capital, a one-stop financing solution, is available to assist in custom tailoring financing options. If a customer is not prepared to add additional units to their fleets permanently, Altec provides a rental option, Global Rental Company, Inc., and offers equipment disposition services through JJ Kane Auctions.
Altec also offers comprehensive mobile and shop-based service, as well as a robust range of parts, tools and accessories to complement equipment. Industry-leading OSHA and ANSI compliant training is available through Altec Sentry.
Interactive Experiences
This year’s show will include interactive experiences designed to give attendees an up-close look at Altec’s products and services. Attendees can operate several pieces of equipment, participate in a scavenger hunt with multiple prizes up for grabs, compete on Altec Sentry’s Training Simulator and view Altec Supply’s white label products.
Altec Sentry’s Training Simulator will return this year. The Altec Virtual Training Simulator imitates real-life operation, allowing operators to practice various scenarios with equipment-specific, hot-swappable controls with a variety of Altec and other construction equipment, including excavators, forklifts, earth movers and more. Show attendees will have the opportunity to compete in an NCCCO-style obstacle course for prizes, and all participants will receive 10 percent off future Altec Sentry training.
New this year, Altec Supply is debuting a store space inside the Altec building where customers can experience the most popular white label products up close and in action. See the Ronin Titan, recognized as the world’s smallest and lightest powered ascender. The Batwing Guard Structure will be on display, and attendees can also take a closer look at the Klein Rail System and much more.
