NCCCO Certification – Mobile Cranes and Digger Derricks

Altec Sentry administers NCCCO certification programs for operators of mobile cranes and digger derricks. The written test prep course will cover OSHA and ASME topics pertaining to proper crane setup, rigging, crane inspections, safety devices, maintenance and interpretation of load charts.

An Altec Sentry instructor will guide you through the key general knowledge you need to pass your NCCCO written tests.

On testing day, you will take the NCCCO written test, followed by the practical test. Depending on class size, an additional day may be needed for practical tests.

Practice time is available to fine tune your load control skills before you take the practical exam.

Once you have passed the Written Core, Specialty and Practical Exams, NCCCO will then issue you the appropriate certification card, which is valid for 5 years.
